Paul Badura-Skoda

Paul Badura-Skoda died on 25th September 2019.

Paul Badura-Skoda bravely fought against his cancer for the last three years and finally lost this struggle a few days before his 92nd birthday, he died on 25th September 2019. In his honour there was a service in the Piaristenkirche, which he frequented as a child and as an old man, on Saturday, October 5th, 2019, with Anton Bruckner's mass in e-minor. The funeral took place on 9th October within the immediate family circle.

Thuesday, 22. May 2018: Paul Badura-Skoda has received the honorary membership of the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna from Rector Ulrike Sych.
